Palestine Emergency
Deadly attacks on Gaza have claimed the lives of over 5,750 Palestinians, more than 2,300 of those being children. Hospitals across the Gaza Strip are under immense pressure to aid all the survivors who have been subject to airstrikes since October 7. Currently, over 15,000 people have been injured and over a million people driven from their homes.
Due to the blockade imposed on Gaza since October 7, supplies of fuel are almost exhausted. There are also shortages of food, water, and medicines, as the number of aid trucks crossing into Gaza each day is less than one-fifth of what the UN says is needed. Before this escalation in the conflict, 68 percent of Palestinians lived below the poverty line and had come to rely on humanitarian aid from organizations like Blackburn UK Trust.
Families in Gaza have been struggling since the 16-yearlong blockade was placed and were further devastated by attacks in Ramadan 2021 and again in Ramadan 2022 and Ramadan 2023. With your support, we can ensure that displaced families get more of the food, water, and medicines they so desperately need.
Give hope to the people of Palestine with your Sadaqah and Zakat.
