Kolej Teknologi Darulnaim (Darulnaim College of Technology) @ KTD, began its operation in 2003 as a higher education initiative by HALUAN and registered under EQ Resources Pte. Ltd. (Co. Reg. No. 317843 - M). It is the completion of integrated educational initiatives from pre-schools, primary schools, and secondary schools throughout Malaysia. The college offers eight Diploma programs - Al-Quran & As-sunnah, Syariah, Business Management, Creative Multi-Media, Early Childhood Education, Technology Management, Accounting, Computer Science, and Real Estate Management.
KTD operates its campus in a rented building, yet has all the academic facilities and support to handle effective teaching and learning activities for all programs. Accommodation college is also available for 150 male and 150 female students. They are required to stay in college for the first year of study to ensure they engage in the entire Islamic character-building programs run by the Students Affairs Department.
Current enrolment is 300 students with 75% B40s - economically underprivileged. Most of them pay for their tuition fee using academic loans provided by the government. One of the main problems faced by students is paying for accommodation and food or room and board which affects their studies and academic performance.
We appeal to the community out there to help them secure college accommodation facilities for as low as $1 a day and $2 a day for food. It takes approximately 18 weeks or 125 days for a full semester which is equivalent to $375 per student.
Educating the ummah is a shared responsibility. Your contribution means a lot to them. Let’s do it together!
