Hi Everyone!
During May this year, I will be working with Medical Teams International (MTI) as a volunteer nurse, serving the most resilient of human beings - persons of refugee status from South Sudan & the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). They were displaced by war, violence, and/or conflict within their home countries and fled for safety and survival to the West Nile region of Uganda.
Thank you in advance for considering giving a tax-deductible donation to Medical Teams International [501(c)(3)] toward our team's work in caring for this population, promoting culturally relevant healthcare, healing interventions, and/or comfort via our individual medical/nursing knowledge and expertise. (Donations made through this Go-Fund-Me site go directly to MTI, not to my bank account:-). MTI will first use the donations that I raise to fund my individual trip costs; excess monies raised will go toward our collective team costs.
