This urgent plea seeks assistance to evacuate my family from Gaza due to the ongoing conflict and state of war, aiming to support them in rebuilding their lives. I am deeply concerned for their well-being as they endure the hardships for survival in Gaza.
For those who may not be familiar with me, I am Mohammedwidad Faraj from Jabalia. I have been living in Egypt for several years. I am a student at medical school at Ain Shams University in Egypt..
I have never collected donations or asked for financial help but the ongoing war in Gaza leaves me no choice so I’ve initiated this campaign, with the hope that compassionate and generous individuals like yourself will come together to support this urgent cause. Your contribution, regardless of its size, will significantly impact my family’s ability to start anew.

For years Gaza has resembled an open-air prison, fighting for survival despite the blockade and recurring attacks, despite fences, walls, and economic blockade. Gaza has rebuilt schools, universities, and homes after every Israeli attack. Despite everything, Gaza has been a place of laughing children, motivated students, families building their lives, and never-ending hope and strength.
And now, Gaza is experiencing destructive war in front of the eyes and my family is in grave danger, they have suffered injuries from the bombing of our home in Jabalia on the fourth day of the war. The most agonizing moments were when I completely lost contact with them, unsure of their fate. They were forced to flee our partially destroyed home, undergoing displacement three times in search of safety., Currently, they reside in a makeshift tent in a school at Deir-al-Balah, lacking access to sanitation, medical supplies, healthy food, connectivity, and warmth

My father Dr. Ahmed is a mathematician, and he has an E-learning platform for secondary and university students which was launched just two months before the war. Unfortunately, his studio and registration tools were destroyed in the bombing of our home.
My mother, Nancy, is a lawyer. Her private office in northern Gaza becomes unusable. Before the war, she enjoyed wonderful days with my sister, Areej, and her son, who is now taking his first steps in the shelter center. Areej graduated this year from the College of Science, Physics Department, and she aims to pursue a master’s degree.
My brother, Nidal, is in his final year of high school and dreams of joining me in studying medicine next year. He is ambitious , organized, and tech-savvy, often assisting my father with technical aspects related to the platform, such as photography, editing, and advertisement. Despite suffering a minor head injury, he is determined to continue on his path to achieving his dream.

Your support would enable us to cover the essential and expensive costs of our journey and resettlement about 7000-9000 per person. Additionally, it would aid my father in returning to Canada or any European country where he was engaged in a scientific research trip allowing him to resume his professional life.
Please consider contributing to our cause, it's not just a donation, it's a lifeline offering us a chance at a new life away from the fear and uncertainty that has clouded our existence for too long. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can provide.
