My name is UWAYEZU Sylvio, i'm a farmer i have a project of passion fruit farming in Rwanda , North province, District and Gicumbi District, Rulindo. I started this project in 2023, I started this project after noticing that my region is favorable to passion fruit farming, a source of job for youth and other unemployed people in rural area, and that it can be source of income for project promoter. where i started with small surface , but now the surface continue to increase, i have young plantation of passion fruit planted in january 2024 = 2400 trees , i have other farm of passion fruits which will be harvested after 4 months in september 2024 = 2200 trees . I have also nursery of passion fruit which will be planted in september 2024 = 4000 plants .The problem i face in my farm is to finance farm activities like , weeding, compost, irrigation, supporting passion fruits, insecticide, targeted cold room for transport of fresh fruit from farm to market, farms tools ...
I plan to sell my fresh fruit to buyer of passion fruit not a processor. I need support for financing farm activities in young plantions , and finace expansion of my farm of passion fruits in planting nurseries.
